Mike and I started welcoming guests to London Road Garden Annex in 2007.
Over the years we met people from all over the world, many from America and Australia. One special lady, Karen, stays here every three years for a trip to look into her genealogy.
We always really enjoyed meeting our guests and making them feel at home. Many visitors have remarked that the annex is a “home from home.”
Sadly, Mike died in 2016 after a short illness, but I continue running the London Road Garden Annex with great pleasure.
I still have many people from different walks of life: the business client, guests who have family or friends living in the area and of course my holiday touring guests.
Having spent many family holidays in self-catering in the UK, we experienced a lot of accommodation that lacked attention to detail. I know what I value when staying away from home and strive to offer guests these finer touches; plenty of coat hangers and fresh fluffy towels, a bed made up with pretty linen to fall into after a long journey, a lovely teapot, a cafetiere… It’s these little details, which can make all the difference to a holiday or business visit.
Over the years I have had some lovely reviews on TripAdvisor and I am proud to say that in 2018 I have been awarded a “Certificate Of Excellence”.
I hope that after you take a look around my website I will have the pleasure to meet you for your relaxing stay.
